The certification

Grafiks is a Madico SafetyShield Premier Partner. The programme is Madico's certified installer credential, and it is the thing that separates a certified installation from film bought and applied to glass.

In practice the installation is carried out to the manufacturer's method for the system being installed, and the manufacturer's warranty covers the installed system rather than the roll of film on its own. SafetyShield safety film and the FrameGard, GullWing, Wet Glaze and LifeLine anchoring systems are supplied only through certified installation.

The buildings are finished and occupied before the film reaches them. Every installation is a retrofit to glass already in place.

What the company does

Three lines of work: solar control, decorative and privacy, and safety and security film. All of it on existing glass, in buildings that stay in use while the work is done.

Everything supplied is Madico film. Grafiks manufactures nothing, and is a channel partner rather than a manufacturer.

Madico is based in Pinellas Park, Florida, in the United States.

Madico is the only window film manufacturer holding UL 972 anti-intrusion certification. SafetyShield is Madico's safety and security line, and FrameGard is its four-sided mechanical anchoring system.
